The other urgent care clinics (including the one covered by my insurance) had really depressing reviews on here. The last thing you want to do when you are anxious and sick is deal with a place described as rude and ghetto. This clinic lived up to the great reviews and it was worth paying cash to avoid a poor experience elsewhere. Anyway, walked in at 6:32pm and they told me to come back in the morning bc they close at 7 and their last patient time is 6:30!!! Couldn't believe it!!! I needed medical attention and they turned me away over 2 mins!! I am a freelancer who has a pretty obscure health insurance company that usually doesn't cover much just emergencies. But Union Square Urgent Medical Care actually accepted my insurance. They are open late on weekdays - to 9 pm - which works out well for those who can't make it during normal business hours. I came at around 8:30 PM and they were able to see me right away. I literally filled out my paperwork and was able to be seen right away. The service was fantastic, the medical practitioners were extremely helpful, and overall I had a great experience.
