I have a 3,000 deductible. I went to see a doctor here for heartburn that I had been dealing with for a whole month. It was bad. The doctor, who will remain nameless, gave me something for it to treat a possible ulcer and heartburn. He told me that when the medication ran out if I was still having heart burn I'd need to see a specialist. Well... After a month, the medication was gone, and two days later the heartburn came back in full force. I called to get a referral and a refill of the heartburn medication because I was in pain. They told me that in order to get the referral for the specialist and any more medication I would have to come back in and see the doctor again.... That first visit cost me 260$. So, they wanted me to spend another 260$ just to get a referral, for the specialist the doctor said I needed, and any more heart burn medication. According to veterinarians, daily walks are important for dog's mental and physical health. They recommend at least one hour of exercise each day. One other thing...we like our area! Admittedly, it used to be a bit rough around the edges but things have changed a great deal over the years.
