Ashes's previous owner reports she is shy around strangers and tries to hide. She has lived with children and is gentle with them, but is not playful. She does not mind having her coat brushed, being picked up, and allowed to be placed in a cat carrier. She was described as friendly and playful, with a very high activity level. In the home, Ashes will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner.
