This is yet another blunder by AHF to offer services that they are not really offering. First of all it's very difficult to find this place and once you do of course it's packed with people. After you register then the waiting begins, you first call is of course from someone trying to get you to do some trial testing for a new procedure they are testing out for accuracy. Then you are asked to return to the waiting room. When your number is finally called they give you a counselor not a nurse not a doctor to ask what you are there for. You need to know what STD you have so they will know which test to give you. There is no doctor or nurse to ask any questions and so basically you are dealing with a counselor/facilitator. If you are going to run a clinic from 5:30 to 9:30 I think you should have the doctor there the whole time or a nurse practitioner to answer questions. I was given a card to come back on Monday that gives me special front of the line privileges. So now I have to wait through the weekend to come back to see the doctor or wait for my blood test which can take up to 7 days. I used to go to Kaiser's clinic afterhours where you would wait, see the doctor and be given treatment. Why they can't do that here, I don't know? This is all because my regular AHF on LaCienega can't even offer me a time this week to see a doctor or a nurse they are all booked. Really????
