I had what appeared to be a Provider name locked. on the underside of my eye lid. I diagnosed myself with pink eye via the Web and was concerned because A. I was in pain, B. pink eye is highly contagious and a coworker had had it and C. I was having trouble seeing out of that eye. I couldn't get in to my regular doc and a nurse suggested I could either wait a day or go to an immediate care clinic.
