After 4 weeks of not hearing from anyone (not even a letter!) about the lab results, I decided to call myself. I got the complete runaround and was promised calls back which never happened. I finally had to call AGAIN and finally got my results. After a few sober years, he relapsed when his marriage was breaking up. He wrote himself a prescription for painkillers in his son's name. His wife notified his program advocate. My only caveat was the doctor was nice but was speaking really fast and felt a bit like she wanted to get the visit over with which felt a bit overwhelming.
