I went in to see my PCP for one thing and then I made the unfortunate mistake of asking for a refill on a prescription just so that I wouldn't have to go back another day. Apparently, just asking for a refill causes you to get a bill of $136. Stupid insurance for not covering this but the doctors should also know more about things that can us as patients can get charged for. Since I have to keep this insurance and stay with this doctor, I'm just going to keep my mouth shut and make sure that whenever I go in there I ask questions on if I'm going to get charged for something and if they aren't sure, then they need to call my insurance before proceeding.
