There is a real risk of sticker shock for patients who wander into a clinic for treatment thinking their insurance is accepted only to find out later, in the form of an expensive bill, that it was not. Some clinics can be vague about what types of insurance they accept, so it's important to ask before you get treated. It's not enough to simply ask whether your insurance is accepted ask if the clinic is in network. If the clinic isn't in your insurer's specific network, you may pay more than you had banked on. She is attentive, accommodating & patient. She never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable about the many questions I had. I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience & will DEFINITELY be returning to see her for other treatments. Patients are placed on a movable table, and the table is slipped into the center of a large donut-shaped machine which takes the x-ray images around the body. The actual procedure can take from a half an hour to an hour and a half. If specific tests, biopsies, or intervention are performed by the radiologist during CAT scanning, additional time and monitoring may be required. It is important during the CAT scan procedure that the patient minimize any body movement by remaining as still and quiet as is possible. This significantly increases the clarity of the x-ray images. The CAT scan technologist tells the patient when to breathe or hold his/her breath during scans of the chest and abdomen. If any problems are experienced during the CAT scan, the technologist should be informed immediately. The technologist directly watches the patient through an observation window during the procedure and there is an intercom system in the room for added patient safety. 24 Hour Urgent Care In Menifee California Frustrated and with a sick kid that was also getting annoyed, I asked how much longer it would be. No more than 20 minutes. We left 30 minutes later. It is not the best clinic in the world but, it is great for those that can't afford to pay for perfectly happy employees and a beautiful decor. I have insurance and I am not hispanic. I am a young white women with 2 young children and a husband. I can afford to visit a more expensive clinic but, I prefer this one. I have used serveral doctors in the offices next to the hospital and have not had much luck. I don't mind waiting for proper care. I typically do not make an appointment but, as long as you go before noon an a weekday the wait is not bad. The most I have ever waited was an hour but, that was a day that I came at about 3 in the afternoon. These people that have commented on the rude office staff are correct but, again you can go and 3 times as much if you are so concerned with a friendly office staff. I have never witnessed the receptionist be outright rude but, she not friendly and professional. She does take personal calls while people are standing at the desk waiting. She and another person that works I think on billing or something else in the office are constantly having personal conversations in full view of the lobby and not even stopping to assist customers at the desk. I have seen several nurses at the clinic and some are more friendly than others but, they have always been polite and respectful. I have 2 young children that I often have to bring with me since I am a stay at home mom. The nurses absolutely love the kids and make them feel welcome. They have kept an eye on the kids so that I could use the restroom. I can often hear the nurses talking in the hallway which to me is unprofessional but, again that is an atmosphere thing that you can get elsewhere for 3 times the cost. I think there are 3 different doctors there. I have only seen two of them. The older female seemed very rushed and didn't spend much time with me. She didn't even sit down which was odd to me but, she did her job. The younger women is very nice and really takes the time to talk to you and explain what is wrong and what I need to do to get better. I have persistant UTI's and she has given some suggests on what could be causing it (we are trying different laundry soaps and making sure to clean myself after sex and swimming and stuff). I am hoping her suggestions will work but, some women are just more prone to these infections. I can't blame the doctor for this. I am pretty particular when it comes to doctors and I love these doctors. I would prefer a quick to the point doctor that solves the problem rather than a doctor who comes in and coddles me but, doesn't fix the problem. To those that are on here complaining about them only treating your problems and not trying to solve it. This is a low income clinic it is not a specialty clinic and if you are have a cronic problem you should probably see a specialist (i.e. a Dertatologist, Urologist, Cardiologist). This is also not an emergency room and if you feel your problem is so sever you need to see the doctor now go to the emergency room. They do see patients on a walk-ins basis but, appointments come first and if they become heavily booked they will not accept walk-ins. They also do not accept walk-ins during the lunch hour (12-2). On the few occation I have arrived and they were not accepting anymore walk-ins I was able to set up an appointment for that same day. Overall for the discounted price I believe that this clinic is worth it and that the doctors do their jobs without drawing the visit out.
