I called my provider to ask what I should do, and was told if I gave the policy number and verified the information by showing ID, then the facility could look me up in the system and put in an insurance claim to my provider. The office manager spoke very demeaningly to me and absolutely refused to even look at the number, let alone type it in to see that I was actively covered. This is a disgrace, and I urge everyone to think twice before coming to this urgent care center! It is deplorable to deny care to a sick person who HAS active health coverage!
