It broke our hearts every time we had to chase her around the house to administer, so we went back to Dr. Cartwright with the dreaded question Do we euthanize or watch her slowly die from her disease? our main concern being not keeping her alive solely for our feelings. Dr. Cartwright explained the domino effect on her body (heart mummer, liver enzymes, etc..) and offered to call his rep once again and have her medication reformulated into a salve form which would be administered on the inside of her ear. He seems to be informed on the latest treatment options. Dr. Cartwright has been the most informative, patient and understanding veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. From the moment we started to see him he showed a genuine interest in making her as comfortable as possible. He explains every procedure, diagnosis and treatment options to a T and makes it easy to understand. Even when her parents fall apart over her condition he always manages to put our hearts at ease. We have grown to trust his word and professional diagnosis 100% weather it is good or bad. His office is always immaculate and the Staff there are extremely personable and professional.
