Time for the annual check up! The Dr was very nice, took his time and helped me address some issues I've been having with double vision, which was sourced to extreme eye fatigue. I've been coming here for 20 years now, and I want to be loyal as they are so nice and have my whole eye history since I was 11 here. BUT, after shelling out $90.00 they wouldn't give me my contacts prescription. Just glasses. When I asked for my contacts prescription (which is different and used to come on a different triplicate form) they said no, they will be just adjusting my contact prescription there as I buy them and they won't give it to me because it varies from lens to lens blah blah blah. As a 95% contact lens wearer this is unacceptable to me. I paid for their service, and I believe I am entitled to my prescription so I can be free to buy my lenses anywhere. I will be looking into the law and ethics of them refusing this to me. I am not willing to burn this bridge just yet, but they are pushing me in that direction!
