Simcoe place clinic is prompt and they have so many services under one roof. Best part is they will DIRECT BILL for most services which for me is huge. It allows me to utilize my benefits well. What I was most impressed with was Dr.Ungerer's communication skills. She listened to my concerns and followed through accordingly. She also thoroughly reviewed my cat's records. When I would begin to tell here about an issue, she was already fully aware of the details and repeated the issue back to me. I could tell she had a full grasp of the situation. Dr. Ungerer was knowledgeable about urinary issues in cats and laid out a treatment plan that would be the least stressful for my cat and me, given our recent history. For instance, she gave my cat long lasting medications via injection so I would not have to hand medicate, which was a HUGE relief! The exam was relatively quick. My cat also seemed a bit less stressed than usual. Dr. Ungerer put my cat on a small rug on the exam table rather than let her sit on the cold slab. Also, my cat really seemed to like the intern who is shadowing Dr. Ungerer, and was snuggled up in her arms. Um, she's never done that with me!
