So here are my two experiences with Med Rite. On Sat. I went to get a chest X-ray bc they told me I had bronchitis. It went away but things seems to get worse , so I decided to go back since I couldn't see my doctor. I asked for a chest X-ray The doctor said that it looks like it may the beginning stages of pneumonia. He informed me that they were trying to get someone to look at the X-rays that day but if they couldn't , I'd hear from them on Mon. Monday comes and goes nothing. I call today at 10:30am , and the Asst. Manager tells me that something has been going wrong with the X-ray since the first, and she would personally call me back. At 4:24 I decide to call seeing that I have not heard a thing. I wait on hold for 16min and then I'm disconnected. I call back , and I'm informed that they will try and contact the provider and get back to me in the new ten minutes. Either you have the X-rays or you don't. I then ask for a manager, and she says that there isn't a manager present. So I was lied to. Seeing as pneumonia is a serious illness , I would think that they would take this seriously. I will definitely let my insurance know about this. I've never in my life had to wait for results for an X-ray like this. Adding insult to injury was the person who answered the phone. She spoke as if she was in a hurry and couldn't wait to get me off the phone soon enough.
