I was curtly told that I will be automatically cancelled at 20 mins late and charged a $50 fee for a missed appt. I asked if they send appt reminders as I had to wait 5 weeks to get the appt and she said yes they usually send a letter and a reminder call...I had received neither. At this point I had made the decision to stop the process of becoming a patient. There were too many signs of problems for me to continue. Two days later I received a curt letter telling me if I missed 3 appts during a 12 month cycle of a year I would be terminated as a patient.(fair enough).Interesting they were Johnny on the spot to admonish but not contact a new patient prior with their policy of sending a welcome letter and phone call reminder.
