So they had been without running water on the top 3 floors since Friday. One of the workers from the facility was out back filling up a plastic bucket from a faucet and carrying it upstairs. The elevators were not working due to power loss. Most of the residence were stuck in wheelchairs or with walkers and could not get to the lower floors. Many of the people that live at the facility use medical equipment or were needing medical attention. We delivered to the resident on the list, and then left all the meals and water that we had not been able to deliver with the facility. We found some electrical workers in the area from Michigan and made sure that they were alerted to the situation at the facility.
