Since I knew 1-800 Contacts would be able to overnight some lenses, I had them call the office for the updated prescription. For 2 days the staff seemed to be stonewalling with regard to releasing my prescription, even though I had made a recent purchase. Even though I was in a bind, they just didn't want to help. On the flip side, the 800-Contacts reps were so helpful! It seems sad to me that an online vendor provided much superior customer service to a locally-owned business (and at a much lower price.) I saw Dr Banafshe - he was really great! I've tried multiple doctors in the past year since moving to LA, always searching for the right fit... If I could return to Dr Banafshe, I would! He took time to hear my concerns, empathized and was patient. I insisted on an X-ray and he supported it. I didn't feel rushed and I trusted his counsel!
